Drink driving charge

A Currans Hill man, 48, has been charged with low range drink driving. He was stopped on Camden Valley Way, Elderslie, about 4.50pm on August 27 and allegedly had a blood alcohol reading of 0.074. He will appear in Camden Court on September 25.

Caught with cannabis

A Mount Annan youth, 17, has been dealt with under the Young Offenders Act for being in possession of cannabis. Police said they saw the youth about 9pm on Saturday near Charles Babbage Avenue and Nash Place, Currans Hill. They said they saw him run from the vehicle and drop something which turned out to be a small amount of cannabis.

Breath test dispute

Police have charged a Camden woman, 53, with refusing to submit to breath analysis. Police were called to Hawkey Crescent, Camden, about 6.30pm on Thursday in relation to a neighbour dispute during which the woman was driving a car. The woman was given a breath analysis test but was unable to provide a sufficient breath sample. She will face Camden Court on September 25.

Court date for driver

A Narellan Vale man, 42, has been charged with mid-range drink driving. He was stopped on Narellan Road, Smeaton Grange, about 9.22pm on Friday. He allegedly had a blood alcohol reading of 0.080 and will face Campbelltown Court on September 23.
